Our Mission
The Jazz Educators of Vermont’s mission is to foster and promote the understanding, appreciation, and performance of jazz. We guide the development of music education in Vermont schools, colleges, and other institutions—including study at all levels, and jazz ensembles of all types—and we foster the application of jazz principles to music materials and methods.
Our Board
President - Andrew Loose
Andrew Loose is an exceptional music educator at Mill River. He teaches jazz combo and collegiate music theory while also performing jazz, classical, and popular music genres across Vermont and the Northeast. Andrew is dedicated to the music community as All State Jazz Audition Coordinator and President-Elect of Vermont Music Educators Association.
